http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114720/?ref_=tt_rec_tti

Notes & scribbles

  • Graboids become Shriekers
  • Shriekers can walk.
  • No Bacon!
  • Cut price Bacon guy wasn’t bad. Wasn’t Bacon though.
  • Want a shot of the Graboid arcade game!
  • Fun sequel.

Notes & scribbles

  • Graboids!
  • Paper, Scissors, Stone should always be used to settle arguments
  • Thanks to IMDb I found out that the little girl on the pogo stick is Lexi from Jurassic Park!  She also appeared in Tremors 3.
  • Loved this film when I was younger, still love it now.
  • Bacon & Ward are excellent together.

The Bone Collector (1999)

Director – Phillip Noyce

Starring – Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Queen Latifah, Luis Guzmán, Michael Rooker, Mike McGlone, Leland Orser, Bobby Cannavalle, Ed O’Neill

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145681/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Notes & scribbles

  • Based on the first Lincoln Rhyme novel by Jeffrey Deaver
  • Denzel is even good when he just moves his head and his finger!
  • Quite funny watching the featurette on the DVD with the producer, director and Denzel all talking about the young, almost unknown, actress (Jolie) that was cast and how she was brilliant, while Jolie herself seemed quite excited about being in the film.  Quite the difference from the superstar she is now.
  • Rooker seems to play the Michael Rooker part he plays in lots of films.
  • Thought Queen Latifah was good in her small part.
  • Saw this in the cinema originally.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119345/?ref_=nv_sr_1

What’s it all about? – Four schoolies kill someone, then a year later it comes back to bite them.

Notes & Scribbles

  • Based on book of the same name by Lois Duncan, apparently she hated the film.
  • Standard teen slasher film.  False accusations, mistrust, folk you think are dead that aren’t, virginity lost.
  • Some cover versions on the soundtrack – Summer Breeze by Type O Negative, Hey Bulldog by Toad The Wet Sprocket, Hush by Kula Shaker.
  • All in all I preferred the Scream films.
  • Two sequels, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.
  • Other possible sequels – I Don’t Care What You Did Last Summer, Why Don’t You Do Something In Winter, Is This What You Did In Autumn and What’s The Point Of Doing Something In Spring. (Copyrighting all of these. Gold I tell ya, Gold!)
